WHY ???

She was lying down alone
And was just thinking of him
About all the things he said
All the things he wished he did
All the words that remained silent
All the feelings that could never be told!

They went through an illusion
That they can make it happen
That this will last forever
And some day they will meet each other
But, bottom of her heart, she always knew
As time rolled by and moments flew
That, there is never a chance for ‘us’
As they both belonged to others
And that this will come to an end
As rapidly as it began
Only leaving them emotionally drained
With hearts that are badly hurt!

Neither could she walk with him
Nor could he stay back for her
They had different paths to take
And separate lives to live
And when they could handle it no more
She just had to let him go
With an everlasting doubt in mind
Whether he ever cared for her in true
Or whether the emotions made her blind
Because, If he had loved her enough,
He couldn’t have left her in this blue!

And there she was, lying down alone,
Just thinking of him
Probably wondering forever
Why did he ever come into her life???
